As a US Navy Veteran, I have traveled the world and have seen and especially appreciated the beauty of other landscapes and cultures. Initially focused on underwater photography, my road to professional photography began when I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, where I was classically trained in all aspects of photography. At that time, tools of the trade were 4x5 sheet film and view cameras. Exposure, focus, and composition were all done manually, with no post-processing correction. The goal was always a perfect negative, producing a perfect print. Over the years since, I have continued to expand and hone my craft to create extraordinary images using the latest camera technologies, while maintaining this rigorous dedication to perfection.
